This project, named “Timeless and Bright,” transformed a dark, outdated kitchen into a light-filled, functional space that suits modern family living. We reimagined the space by removing an angled peninsula, shifting the entry to the kitchen, and widening the opening to the Family Room. These changes dramatically improved flow and created a more open, connected feel.

The new layout also allowed us to incorporate an overhang with barstool seating—perfect for casual meals and gatherings. Custom wall cabinets now extend to the ceiling, maximizing storage and adding a tailored, finished look. All cabinetry, fixtures, and appliances were updated with a clean, timeless aesthetic in mind.

Functional upgrades include a cooking tool pull-out beside the new gas cooktop, and the replacement of the old downdraft system with a high-performance updraft hood, properly vented to the outside. We also added panel-ready refrigerator drawers—an ideal spot for drinks and easy access for the whole family.

This kitchen is a beautiful example of how thoughtful layout changes and carefully selected finishes can completely revitalize a space, blending everyday function with lasting style.
